Netkrom solution is to provide wireless backhaul links in the 3.5GHz band to provide wireless internet coverage to Totoritas, Arenas, El Sol, Bonitas, Palabritas, Cocos, Palmas, El Golf, Sol y Mar, and Naplo beaches, that belong to the exclusive resort of Asia. Thanks to the service implemented in each of the Backahul links, internet access can be guaranteed in these beaches in the South Area. The extension of these developments that make up the beach Spa in Asia covering an area of approximately 8 km long, parallel to the coastline. |

The deployment of this project carried out by Netkrom consisted of the communication of the internet service from the "sites" (mobile base stations) or so-called POP's to each of the 8 seats deployed on the beaches Totoritas, Arenas, El Sol, Bonitas, Palabritas, Cocos, Palmas, El Golf, Sol y Mar, and Naplo. This communication is performed using point to point links in the 3.5GHz band, these links proved their robustness and performance by enabling the bandwidth integrated over a beach, reaching real capacity (throughput) averages of 15 Mbps and 30 Mbps with only 5 or 10 MHz channel width, respectively. Thus, the wireless platform together provide the optimum allowed Internet service, guaranteeing bandwidth to allow a smooth and fast download of information to users of the 10 beaches in the resorts of Asia. |
