The Provincial Municipality of Piura, through the United Nations Office for Project Services - UNOPS, has acquired an integral public safety system which combines remote video surveillance system, emergency center, call center system and a wireless platform on which will be transmitted any information. The technology used is latest generation, with a communications system and fully digital video with high quality HD video in high definition, and positioning system agents and mobile units through the GPS signal. The video surveillance system at a distance is composed of 53 PTZ high resolution HD BOSCH cameras, whose 360 ° can observe any event in the vicinity of their location, and recognition of faces and plates due to its 200X zoom (20X optical, 10X digital). These cameras are specially designed for the outdoor public safety field, with an aluminum tamper-proof, impact resistant and suitable for adverse conditions reinforced acrylic protective bubble. The IP digital video signal is transmitted through a robust wireless conformed by Netkrom Technologies equipments, which have proven their high efficiency and performance in similar solutions for the municipalities of San Isidro (150 cameras), San Borja (55 cameras), Surquillo (28 cameras), San Juan de Lurigancho (18), San Miguel (16 cameras) in Lima and in the cities of Arequipa (40 cameras), Juliaca (30 cameras) and Cusco (21 cameras). The captured video images are stored in an array of high-capacity hard drives that will allow recording up to 15 days, which may be used to request the relevant entities in order to validate any criminal act. |
