Metropolitan ISP Network• Client / Company: All System Pc • Country: Mexico • Solution: Bring Wireless Internet service to the Colonia de Cristo Rey in the city of Ixtlan Del Rio which resides in Nayarit, Mexico with a 2.4 GHz ISM Band. The Solution given consists of the ISP implementation based upon the MB-ROMB v3 series equipment. This will allow the client stations to interconnect between each other at speeds up to 54 Mbps which is due to an authentication layout, coded data, and access lists that test the networks security mechanism to prevent unauthorized access to the wireless network. |

The natural geographic features of the area and the user’s necessities allowed for a Point-to-Multipoint topology. This type of layout would be able to support and allow the wireless Internet access to the city of Ixtlan Del Rio in Nayarit, Mexico.
• Connection: Taking into consideration that the Internet service is stationed in the provider’s main office building, All System Pc transports the signal from their tower to every client who relatively has a 95% line of sight in the Colonia Cristo Rey. • Base Station: The Base Station placed upon the tower is a MB-ROMB v3 with 2 MiniPCI modules MB-MSAGUHP which are connected to two 90° sectorial antennas of 17 dBi gain. Currently, there are approximately more than 20 subscribers in total connecting to the Base Station. |

• Subscribers: Currently the majority of subscribers consist of PC’s with wireless capabilities inside of every neighborhood. Similarly there are clients that use laptops who can directly connect to the Base Station regardless of being inside of a home or outside.
