Bahria Town IT department contacted Zoomin for the wireless solution where they had to make a mixture of 5.8GHz and 2.4GHz solutions. Challenge was to provide complete communication system far away from the city limits and solution should assure 99.999% uptime.

Project Description

Zoomin technical resource reached the customer office and started survey with the exact requirements. After receiving maps and other required details they realized that the necessary data transfer rate from remote site to the central site was much higher than their expectation. It was the point where other vendors faced difficulty to provide the proper solution.

After presenting the solution, they were requested to start working on the project line as they had presented them on screen. There was time constraint as well; they needed to provide a solution that should not only be practical but also less time-taking and robust.

To meet requirements of the client, it was recommended to install AIR-PTPCPE500AHP under point-to-point scenario for high bandwidth. For long range "Phase 8" link there was a problem of non-line of sight. Zoomin Tech. decided to use MB-ROMBv2 for this critical link. Minimum data rate for the "phase 8" link was 36Mbps.

Zoomin Tech. started the installation and thanks to Netkrom equipment they didn’t take more than two hours to install, configure and test one link. Execution of the full project with applications test took two days and client was more than satisfied.
